The Alaska Native Harbor Seal Commission wishes to sincerely thank the Akhiok Kid’s Camp
for hosting the ANHSC Seal Camp.
As well as the Kodiak Area Native Association (KANA) for donating the funds for John Boone,
a skin sewer and hunter from Valdez to teach the sea otter component at the Akhiok Kid’s
Camp, Chugach Alaska Corporation for their contribution to our “donation” fund.
And the experienced hunters for taking the time to teach our next generation hunting protocols
during all three seal camps. In keeping with our vision statement, you made it a reality.
